Okay as far as teenagers or anyone goes, I watch very little TV. However, when I do find a show that I really like, I watch it a lot. So here I'm going to do a little summary of my favourite shows while I ponder new ones. And if you have any suggestions, they will be welcome.
Heroes:Okay surprisingly I only got into this about 6 months ago. It is amazing. How did I miss it? There's so many twisting and turning, overlapping plot lines. And I just love everyone's accents! I loooove hearing different accents. So yeah if you want a fun, slightly (only slightly) gory, action packed but great TV show, watch Heroes.
Roswell:So what do I say about Roswell. Max is an alien. So is his sister Isabel and brother Michael. But they all look like humans. They don't know where they came from or anything about their origins. They never let anyone know, not even their adoptive parents, until Liz gets shot. Max has a crush on her and saves her. Liz eventually gets his secrets out of him and her best and very eccentric friend Maria finds out too. It's great fun. Maria and Michael scenes have me in fits of laughter.
Charmed:If you haven't seen this, you're missing out. 8 seasons of 3 magic sisters are just fantastic. And yes, that's 8 seasons. I own them all. They are so great. They're funny, and definitely full of girl power. The magic world they create really is fantastic. And Piper's son from season 5ish (I think) onwards is adorable!!
A Town Called Eureka:I want to go and live there. Geniuses living all in the same place doing wacky experiments that constantly go wrong? Amazing. Especially because the main character isn't... as intellectually inclined as the rest of the residents. Then there's Jo Lupo who knows every single type of gun possible. She just kicks butt. And I actually think I am in love with the egotistical, arrogant computer nerd Zane. But then again, egotistical and arrogant really aren't too far from home in my case ^^".
Being Human: Oh yes, the British OWN with this one

. I think all these shows on the list are American except this delightful, funny little show about... wait for it... a vampire, werewolf and a ghost sharing a small house. It's hilarious combined with action and a lot of blood (vampire - what do you expect?). Lauren was my favourite character because she just kicked butt. It seriously was a fantastic show. I heard (but am not sure if it's true) that the American's are doing a remake instead of airing our version over in their country. See our show is so great the American's want it. But why they can't just see the British version is beyond me. And Mitchell's Irish accent is just to die for!
Farscape:Okay I lied. This one's not American either. It's Australian. But you wouldn't guess it. Everything is set in space and some of the main characters are completely inhuman aliens. The makeup and special effects are great! The comedy in this show is fantastic too. Especially when one of the characters goes insane and a insane version of the bad guy lives in his head. It's just hilarious. So yeah. Aliens, space travel, action, adventure and weird but clever stuff, mixed with a healthy dose of comedy. Seriously, watch it!
Kyle XY:I only saw season 1 of this but apparently there has been a 2 and a 3. Just that they haven't been released on DVD. So Kyle XY is... well I'm not quite sure what he is. He has superhuman intelligence and was just found wandering. He adjusts to human life while human life adjusts to him. He ends up a member of a family and sleeps in a bath tub. I haven't seen it for a while but there is a deep sense of mystery in the idea of who he is and where he came from. It is really good though!
True Blood:Ahahaha. What can I say? The first time I watched this I was freaked out. It's definitely rated 18 for a reason. There are sex scenes (in which I turn away from the TV - how innocent am I?) but the plot line is really good. It's all about vampires who have come out into the open and are fighting for human rights (a rather interesting concept in my opinion). It really does show a range of attitudes and a lot of it is so true to life that you do love it. I'm only part way through season one but it's great. Oh and there is a huuuuge amount of blood in it too.
Moonlight:There was only one season of this. But the lead guy was pretty hot. It was about a vampire (again) who rescued a young girl when she was little from the vampire wife who had condemned him to being undead in the first place. This young girl grows to be a girl about his age who is also a news report. The Vampire, Mick, becomes a private investigator and their paths cross frequently. The show has some good plot ideas, the only problem is the loose ends are never tied up.
Pushing Daisies:This show is so bad you're just compelled to watch it. It has a whole fairy-tale quality with a British voice over (it's an American show) speaking in verse or describing the actions. Everything is also very, very brightly coloured. It's so luminous. And Kristing Chenoweth (sp?) who was the first Glinda in Wicked is in it. I recognised her from the way she spoke then when she sang in an episode, I was certain it was her. And then I saw her name in the credits and cheered because I had it right

. Anyway... It's about a guy called Ned who brings things back to life when he touches them. However, there are catches. Firstly, whatever he touches comes back regardless of whether he wants it too. Secondly, if it is alive for over 1 minutes, someone or something else of equal worth dies in its place. The final and probably most important implication is that if he touches it again, it dies permanently. For this reason, he can never touch his revived dog again. He works with a private investigator, reviving murdered people to find out who killed them then making them die again within a minute. However, when one of those victims is his old childhood sweetheart, he can't bring himself to touch her again (which causes someone else's death which is later visited in another episode). The two should be soul mates, but they can NEVER touch each other. I am envious of the lead lady - she is so pretty!
Phew done. I don't know why that one was the longest. Probably because it was the one I watched most recently.
So yeah. If you know anything else good like this, let me know. For now, if you've read all this, have a cookie *gives cookie*

.
So here are my positive reviews (see I can do positive reviews

).
Now I'm going to bed. Night x.
